After breaking up with her longtime boyfriend, Jules Wiley played by Kat Dennings tries to reconnect with the friends she lost during her relationship.

Jules has been totally absorbed by her relationship for the past 4 years, her boyfriend unexpectedly dumps her and she goes back to rekindle her relationship with her friends, Madison played by Brenda Song and Stella played by Shay Mitchell.She tries to fix her relationship with Madison which was more complicated than that of Stella’s.

She later becomes more friendly with them and ask for advice about moving out of her boyfriend place. Jules struggles to understand the rules of keeping secrets among friends meanwhile Stella attempts to teach Izzy played by Esther Povistsky to be more mysterious.

The girls try to fix their personal brands as Jules takes on the boring one, Stella the fun one, Madison the bossy one and Izzy with the fake identity.
